Who will be the followers in Diablo 3?

Would you be alone when the Armies of Hell come down to destroy the world of Sanctuary? As the saying goes, "Only fools and those who fancy themselves brave" face their enemies alone. Who will stand beside you in the war for Sanctuary? One of your followers, of course.

You would be able to choose from the three followers at various times during the war in Diablo 3. These are Templar, Scoundrel, and Enchantress. Here are the key features of each of the followers:
Templar Kormac is brave and can take on enemies with a subtle strategy. Kormac taunts enemies and makes himself the focus of their attack. He punishes by crippling enemies or slowing down their attack. Kormac heals with his faith. He can call the healing powers to spring you back to your healthy state with your natural state resource regeneration and healing. Kormac answers to the call of 'justice' in his own way. He is ferocious as an attacker and can cause very bad wounds to the enemies.

HERE Scoundrel Lyndon is proficient in handling a wide range of weapons. He is able to shoot arrows tipped with poison, fire several bolts at one go, or shoot those all-destroying explosive. Lyndon is able to blind and cripple enemies with tricks and strategically fired shots. He can keep himself safe with great strategic thinking. The Scoundrel's biggest asset is that he has speed on his die. He loves to trick his opponents by sheer speed and is quick to share his strategic thinking with his friends.

Enchantress Eirena can cast magic spells that would leave your enemies permanently in a trance. She can also use her magic to make your enemies fight amongst themselves. Her favorite are the power waves to blast through enemies and send them flying into the air after the point of impact. She can project force shields to protect you from any danger and also turn a strong attack against enemy forces.

Don't forget that apart from the followers, you also have to choose your weapons wisely. Your followers and weapons would be your 'true friends' in this battle against the Armies of Hell. You can choose one of the three artisans: Blacksmith, Jeweler, and Mystic, to help you with your weapons. The only advice is: Don't go empty-handed and don't go alone.

What are the three artisan classes of Diablo 3?

Your weapons will be your best friends in the dark, deep, and dangerous world of Diablo 3. You could choose to go empty-handed and die thousands of miles below ground level, or choose the right weapons and save the world.

Artisans are those who would build and repair the weapons you use to destroy the Armies of Hell in Diablo 3. There are three artisans: Mystic, Jeweler, and Blacksmith. Here is a quick summary of how each artisan can help you.

HERE Blacksmith Haedrig Eamon is the miracle guy with metal and heat. He can forge weapons, shields, helms, belts, suits of armor, and a range of paraphernalia for you. Haedrig can be good at repairing the items you are equipped with. He can also take care of the items in your inventory by restoring their full durability. Of course, he charges gold relevant to the level of difficulty.

Jeweler Covetous Shen also knows his job well. He is the master of gemcraft. He can use gems of even low quality for great results. Give it to Shen for excellent etching of sockets into pants, belts, helms, and shields. He can make any piece of equipment benefit from the power of gems. Shen is ready to help you with the other side also – that is with removing gems.

Mystic Myriam Jahzia can add magic to any item. Being a mystic she can see into the future. But, there is more to her powers. She could be your final call of defense. Myriam can make a weapon or piece of armor into a magical item gaining in strength, speed, and power. She can even put a magic spell on an item so it replenishes your life. You can seek her help for items in your inventory or with weapons you are carrying.  Myriam can see into the future but she will not tell you always what is to come. However, with the help of her powers she can judge what would be the best weapons for the future. That is why she is one artisan you must always return to for help if you wish to fulfill your destiny as the Diablo 3 dominator.

Why fans are desperate to get Diablo 3?

Most gamers would tell you that Diablo 1 and 2
were the most popular games ever made in the fantasy genre. No wonder expectations for the third edition in the series is very high. Gamers are excited about all the new aspects of the third edition which is billed to be the most difficult to master of all the editions of the Diablo game.

HERE Fighting, real-time action, and RPGs are what make the Diablo games so exciting. The setting is technically described as the type classified by gamers as 'dungeon roaming'. Diablo 3 comes with a new twist. Unlike previous editions, Diablo 3 has a dual auction-house system. This simply means that gamers can use gold (Diablo 3 money) plus real-world money. That just makes the stakes so much higher for all the gamers out there. It also makes Diablo 3 totally irresistible.

Diablo 3 design and engineering team has carefully laid out a cashing-out, buying and selling system within the game. This relates only to items within the game. Blizzard, from its part, is not offering any extra goods for sale though. Blizzard would continue to earn from its original game subscription. However, gamers would now have to play within the framework of this madly fluctuating Diablo 3 exchange rate.

Another group of fans is more worried about hackers and experts squeezing money out of amateurs through the dual-auction system.
However, diehard Diablo fans have welcomed all the changes. They feel the challenge would be all the more exciting now!

Amidst all this talk, news reports from South Korean National Assembly say Diablo 3 indeed breaks Article 1 of their Gaming Industry Promotion Law! Earlier, South Korean Emperor Online was banned because of similar gaming systems.
Gaming industry experts suggest that Blizzard should simply issue two versions of Diablo 3; one with the dual-auction system and the other with the system disabled!
